Rajiv Kumar appointed as new CEC

Senior most EC Rajiv Kumar has been designated as new CEC of India. He will take over the charge on Sunday May 15. He is a 1984 batch Jharkhand cadre IAS officer and was appointed EC in August 2020. He retired in February 2020.
