Nine SFS officers of Assam elevated to IFoS

Nine State Forest Service officers of Assam segment of Assam-Meghalaya Joint Cadre have been elevated to the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) on the basis of inclusion of their names in the Select Lists for the years 2027, 2018 and allocate Assam Segment of Assam-Meghalaya Joint Cadre. Brahma Nanda Patiri and Rabi Sing Engti have been promoted against Select List (SL) of 2017, while Jogonath Rongpi and Nando Ram Teron were promoted against SL of 2018. Similarly, officers promoted against SL of 2019 are: Sushil Kumar Thakuria, Muhammad Abdel Salam Arief, Dilip Kumar Deka, Bidyut Barthakur and Shafiqur Rahman.
