Praveen Sood DGP Karnataka who was no where in the picture was appointed new CBI Chief.The orders were issued on Sunday .On Saturday the selection committee, comprising of the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice of India, the Leader of Opposition had picked up the name of Praveen Sood, DGP, Karnataka for the post of Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
