IAAE-India Accreditation Program Elevates Airport Executives in India

The International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE)-India Accreditation program was successfully conducted at the Indian Aviation Academy Campus, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi recently. The program witnessed the participation of 19 candidates representing the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and 16 candidates from GMR. Under the guidance of senior executives from AAI and GMR, these candidates successfully completed the program and were awarded certificates and plaques to commemorate their achievement. Established in 1928, the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) has become one of the world's largest professional bodies for airport executives. In 1992, recognizing the need for global expansion, AAAE established the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE). Building on this foundation, IAAE-India was created on 5 th November, 2018, in partnership with Indian Aviation Academy and GMR Aviation Academy. The aim was to develop a comprehensive training program and membership specifically for airport executives in India. This collaborative effort and noteworthy accomplishment, reinforcing the significance of IAAE-India in fostering excellence and advancing the careers of airport executives in India. It showcases the dedication and commitment of the participants and highlights the valuable opportunities provided by IAAE-India to enhance professional growth in the field of airport management.
