Eight IPS officers have been moved in Jharkhand. Anil Palta has been made DG, Home Guard and Fire Services, while Anurag Gupta was posted as DG, Crime Investigation Department (CID), Ranchi and Prashant Singh has been made the CMD, Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Limited. Similarly, Manoj Kaushik has shifted as IG, Police Headquarters, Jharkhand and assigned additional charge of IG, Provisions and IG, Special Branch; Pankaj Kamboj as IG, ACB, Ranchi with additional charge of IG, Ranchi Zone; Anup Birthare has been designated as DIGP, Ranchi Zone; Haris Bin Zaman as SP, Traffic, Ranchi and Shubhanshu Jain is now SP (City), Ranchi.
