Ajay Nanda, who is currently designated as EDME (Project) in Railway Board, has been relocated as Senior Professor (WMT) to Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE). He is an NFHAG officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME).
