Airports Authority of India (AAI) celebrates 76 th Republic Day

Airports Authority of India (AAI) celebrated 76th Republic Day of the country with immense zeal, fervor and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Shri M. Suresh, Member (ANS), AAI at Delhi Air Traffic Services (DATS) Complex of Airports Authority of India at IGI Airport, New Delhi, Sh. Nikhil Kumar Kanodia (IPS), Chief Vigilance Officer and other senior officials of AAI. Senior Officers from Indian Air Force also graced the occasion. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and presentation of Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest by a joint team of CISF and Airport Fire Services Personnel. During his address, Shri M. Suresh, Member (ANS), AAI extended warm wishes and greetings to the gathering and expressed that it is a matter of great pride for us that today we are celebrating the 76th Republic Day of our independent and sovereign nation. He also paid tributes to our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to achieve independence. The Delhi Air Traffic Services (DATS) complex was all decked up with tri- colour lighting and beautiful Rangolis. On this occasion young students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rangpuri, New Delhi mesmerized with their riveting musical rendition. Shri Devendra Kumar Gautam, Regional Executive Director-Northern Region, AAI - along with his team organised the event in coordination with senior officers and staff.
