Airports Authority of India (AAI) celebrates 75 th Republic Day
Airports Authority of India celebrated the 75th Republic Day with patriotic fervor. The event commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, AAI at Delhi Air Traffic Services Complex of Airports Authority of India at IGI Airport, New Delhi, in the presence of Shri M. Suresh, Member (ANS), Dr. H. Srinivas, Member (Human Resources), Sh. Pankaj Malhotra, Member (Finance)and other senior officials of AAI This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and presentation of Guard of Honour to the Chief Guest by a joint team of CISF and Fire Personnel. The cold weather failed to dampen the spirits of AAI's esteemed Board Members and distinguished officials of AAI, as they gathered to promote the feeling of brotherhood and nationalism. During his official address, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, AAI extended warm wishes and greetings to the gathering and expressed that it is a matter of great pride for us that today we are celebrating the 75th Republic Day of our independent and sovereign nation. Chairman, AAI congratulated team AAI for completing the development work of Ayodhya Airport in less than 21 months. He also mentioned that recently, Greenfield airport at Rajkot, Gujarat and New Integrated Terminal Buildings at, Surat, Port Blair, Trichy Airport, Chennai International Airports have also been inaugurated. These have been important steps towards expansion of aviation infrastructure and strengthening of connectivity in the region.
