A document ‘Review of Traffic at Indian Airports 2020-21’ was unveiled by Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, Airports Authority of India (AAI) the on 03 rd September 2021 in the presence of Shri I. N. Murthy, Member (Operations); Shri A K Pathak, Member (Planning) & Shri K
Vinayak Rao, Member (Finance), AAI. This document consists of traffic analysis registered at Indian airports during 2020-21 v/s 2019-20 including growth rate, airport wise traffic share, month wise traffic at top 45 airports and market share of airlines in 2020-21. It also covers the historic year wise traffic data for all Indian airports since AAI’s inception i.e. 1995-96 w.r.t. aircraft movements, passengers and cargo. The document is of immense use to aviation planners, researchers, regulators, concessionaires and policy makers in Civil Aviation to meet them challenges ahead.
