AAI celebrates 76th Independence Day

The Airports Authority of India celebrated ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ as India completed 75 years of its independence, with grandeur, gaiety and enthusiasm. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Indian independence, and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. On this auspicious occasion, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, AAI hoisted the National Flag at Delhi Air Traffic Services Complex of Airports Authority of India at IGI Airport, New Delhi, in the presence of Board Members, Regional Executive Director (Northern Region) and senior officials of AAI. This was followed by National Anthem. Later, a joint team consisting of the Fire Crew and CISF personnel gave the Guard of Honour to the Chairman. In his Independence Day address; Chairman, AAI remembered the priceless efforts of India’s great leaders and freedom fighters in gifting us a free nation. He also highlighted that over the years, the Airports Authority of India has achieved new milestones in its growth journey and is providing world-class facilities through capacity enhancement, technological up-gradation and latest passenger amenities at terminals of its various airports across the country.
