Seven senior IPS officers in UP have been given new responsibilities. S B Shirodkar has been posted as Commissioner of Police, Lucknow, while B P Jogdand is now Commissioner of Police, Kanpur City and D K Thakur was shifted as ADGP, PHQ, Lucknow. Similarly, Vijay Kumar Meena has been transferred as ADGP, PHQ, Lucknow; Vijay Kumar will be posted as DGP, CBCID, Lucknow; Gopal Lal Meena as DGP, Cooperative Cell, Lucknow and Vijay Kumar Maurya has been appointed DGP, Homeguards with additional charge of DGP, Logistics.
