16 IPS officers shifted in Punjab

As many as 16 IPS officers in Punjab have been shifted by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Arun Pal Singh has been appointed as IGP, Jalandhar Range, while Shive Kumar Verma was made IGP, Bathinda Range and Rakesh Agrawal takes charge as IGP, Patiala Range. Similarly, Pardeep Kumar Yadav is now IGP, Faridkot Range; Surjit Singh has been appointed as DIGP, Vigilance Bureau; Harjeet Singh will be posted as SSP, SAS Nagar; Dhruman H Nimbale as SSP, Hoshiarpur; Patil Ketan Baliram as SSP Ludhiana Rural; Deepak Hilori as SSP Amritsar Rural; Gulneet Singh Khurana as SSP, Tarn Taran; Amneet Kondal as SSP, Bathinda; Sandeep Kumar Malik as SSP, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Sartaj Singh Chahal was moved as SSP, Fatehgarh Sahib. Besides, Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Jaskaran Singh and Mukhwinder Singh Chinna have been transferred as IGP, Punjab Police Headquarters.
