As many as 14 IPS officers of various batches and cadres are retiring in August 2021. The names are: Suvashis Choudhary of AGMUT cadre; H R Muliana of Gujarat; S S Deswal and K K Sindhu of Haryana; Kamal Nayan Choubey of Jharkhand; Sunil Agarwal of Karnataka; Ashok Dohre and Ravi Shankar Deharia of Madhya Pradesh; Surendra Panwar, Satyajit Mohanty of Odisha; S R Lepcha of Sikkim; J Poornachandra Rao of Telangana; Virendra and Marityunjoy Kumar Singh of West Bengal cadre.
