As many as 11 officers of Customs have been promoted to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes. The officers are: Subhash Chandra Agarwal, Ranjan Khanna, Alok Jha, Ramesh Chander, Peri Umashankar, Parag Chakor Borkar, Debashish Sahu, Shafat Ahmad Usmani, Radhey Shyam Maheshwari, Engineer Kesavan, Dinesh Purushottamrao Pangarkar.
